Below is a list of useful out-of-hours external services you may need to contact. You should always dial 999 in the event of a true emergency requiring the police, ambulance service or fire brigade.

Free, expert health advice and information from the NHS, 24 hours.

For urgent medical care you can book an appointment with your doctor's surgery, visit a NHS walk-in centre or visit the Accident and Emergency department at any hospital.

The non-emergency number for the police. You should call 101 to report crime and other concerns that do not require an emergency response. If there is a true emergency always dial 999.
